Freeing Birth. Birth Freedom. What does it mean to be completely autonomous and self-responsible in pregnancy and birth? Free Birth means unrestrained birth: a spontaneous physiological event in which the birthing woman has and retains FULL AGENCY of her body, baby and birth process. She leads the way and has as much or as little support team witnessing her as she desires. Free Birth is birth OUTSIDE of the industrial, medical, heirarchical paradigm of modern birth. It is purely woman-centered, woman-guided, intuitively navigated and deeply sacred. A birth completely on a woman's own terms, undisturbed by medical personel, policy, restrictions and interventions.
